Thráka Restaurant in Zakynthos was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming—perfect for enjoying a delicious meal in the heart of the island.
The food was phenomenal. Every dish was packed with flavor, made from fresh, high-quality ingredients, and clearly prepared with care. Whether it was grilled meats, traditional sides, or fresh salads, everything was cooked to perfection and served with pride.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. It’s the kind of place where you’re not just a customer—you’re a guest among friends.

The best food we had in Zakynthos, we tried many restaurants but nothing compares to the taste of food in this place. The food has a lot of flavour and the waiters are very polite, positive and smiley! I will miss the food and the place. Highly recommend 😋

The food was absolutely amazing. They served very large portions for very reasonable prices. The meat was freshly cooked but it did take a little bit to come out (around 30-40mins).

The food was really delicious, big portions and the service was great. We got the food quickly and it was incredible and that for a good price. We got the gyros chicken, definitely worth it.

The best food on the whole island! Nice and fast service. The Greek salad was just amazing. We will definitely be back. I saw a lot of reviews about the service… Chill down people, it is tourist season, the restaurant is obviously busy (since the food is amazing) and they are trying their best. Just keep up th good work!

This was our go to spot for gyros everyday while in Zante! Only outside sitting which was perfect for us and the food was ready quick. Great spot if you're looking to grab a quick bite for lunch. Went for dinner as well, the food and wine portions are insane. Would highly recommend!

Best Gyros in town. I recommend getting the traditional pork sausage plate because it's very tasty and well done. The serving was impeccable and the waiters friendly. They will even try to speak to you in your native language, so I appreciate this effort!

The best gyro in Zakynthos. I have tried gyro in Santorini and Mykonos ans this place is best in Zakynthos. Extensive menu with good ambience.

Plus it isn’t just about price - the food is wonderful, the potions are huge, and the service is great.

Really nice experience with local dishes. Not expensive comparing to other restaurants nearby. I recommend you tu try their tzatziki and bread. The Greek salad was ok.

Food was amazing, outdoor and indoor seating. Free fast WiFi to use while you wait for your meal. Staff are friendly. The price of the food is well underpriced, when I got the bill I was shocked.
Moussaka and Halloumi were both amazing. No frills but great taste, casual dining. Highly recommend for quick meal with friendly service.

Servings were big and a bit affordable compared to the other restaurants nearby. Must be because it was a souvlaki place and menus were limited to souvlakis and some grilled meat. Nevertheless, it was a good dinner, with some hip music, and in the town center.
